Report on Sadhana Diwas, Bhubaneswar Nagar Sthan
Sadhana Diwas was observed in Vivekananda Kendra, Bhubaneswar Nagar, Odisha, on 19th November 2024 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Eknath Ramakrishna Ranadeji, the founder of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra. On Sadhana Diwas, about fifty Karyakartas were present to pay homage to Eknathji, studying his vision and rededicating themselves to the mission of Man Making and Nation Building. The programme was begun with Bhajan Sandhya. The whole programme was anchored by Shree Jitendra Behera (Karyapaddhati Pramukh). He elaborated the significance of Sadhana Diwas. A video show was presented before the Karyakartas on Eknathji and Vivekananda Rock Memorial – Ek Jeevan Ek Dheya. On this occasion Adaraneeya Srimati Lilima Mohapatra (Sanchalika, Vani Vibhag) addressed the Karyakartas to do Iswareeya Karya of Man Making and Nation Building, their ordained duty, with Sadhanabhaba, being the instruments in the hands of God. Remembering the founder of Vivekananda Kendra, Shree Eknathji, Dr. Naba Kishore Pradhan (Nagar Pramukh) readout the letter sent by Padmashree Nivedita Raghunath Bhide, All India Vice President, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, and analysed the key points of the letter. It was announced in the programme to observe Swadhyaya week online from 20 th Nov to 26th Nov at 08 pm covering chapter III & IV of the book, “Spiritualising Life” to be taken by the toli members of Odisha Prant, as suggested by Nivedita Didi. The programme was concluded by offering floral tribute at the portrait of Eknathji with Dayitva Grahana by the Karyakartas for 2025 to 2028 AD, followed by Kendra Prarthana.
